The forecast values stay private until scoring. An independent timestamp records the commitment ahead of October fieldwork; it verifies timing, not predictive accuracy.

Scoring, scope and verification

How we’ll score it

The forecast passes if its ICC error is within 2 points and smaller than the error from carrying forward the last published value available when sealed. The 2-point threshold is an error tolerance, not a confidence interval. We’ll also publish errors for all five components and 15 survey items, including any misses.

What this test covers

This test uses a Spanish survey battery and an urban population proxy for ENCO’s 32-city survey. Predictive accuracy is pending. It does not validate every Studio study; the survey prompts have not been verified as equivalent to those used in Studio.
